"The primary goal of the CrossFit Kids program is to keep kids active and stimulated, to facilitate a healthy life and enjoyment of fitness, based on correct and safe movements, for a broad athletic base."

CrossFit teens (13-17-year olds) is general physical preparedness program, aimed at enhancing physical literacy, by combining bodyweight movements, weightlifting, gymnastics and cardiovascular training, in a fun and safe environment. Classes consist of components drawn from the 10 physical skills;

Cardiovascular / respiratory endurance

Coordination

Flexibility

Power

Speed

Stamina

Strength

 

Classes are not only exercise sessions but are designed to improve overall wellbeing as well as enhancing sportsmanship and teamwork, self-discipline, determination and motivation, and psychological resilience and cognitive function.

 

CrossFit is designed to be broad, general and inclusive for all, no matter the physical background or capabilities. We pride ourselves on facilitating and encouraging an inclusive, supportive and non-judgemental approach to fitness, enhancing individual strengths and building on individual limitations, which will be different for each person (adult or child). The emphasis on physical literacy (motivation, confidence, physical competence, knowledge and understanding of purposeful movement) and progression enables even the most sedentary of children to get involved and develop from the bottom up; building good mechanics and sports performance for a healthy active future.

Classes are currently on Tuesdays at 5pm and last for 1 hour.

If you would like to sign your teen up, you can purchase a pack of 10 classes (£80) or pay for a monthly membership (£30pm).

 

If you are already a member of InTouch CrossFit, we can add your teen to your account with our “Family” function, and you will be able to book classes for them. If not, you can create an account by going to the sign-up page and selecting the appropriate membership.
